It covers enterprises that which are concerned with the promotion of timber and related wood products, fuelwood, fodder, and a variety of Non-timber Forest Products (NTFP). The study assesses factors and dynamics that lead to the development of such enterprises as well as relative efficiency of existing enterprise modalities in realizing developmental goals of sustainable and equitable economic development.
The main outcomes of the study include the systematic analysis of a sample of existing community-based forestry enterprises and documentation of lessons learned from such enterprises experience in Nepal.
